The East Midlands Q2 2026 Economic Survey is now LIVE!

The QES is the biggest business survey of its kind in the East Midlands, which includes the Peak District National Park. Results are analysed to help shape crucial policy discussions locally, regionally and nationally.

Many businesses use the results to gain a competitive edge and find new opportunities, using this knowledge to see how their local markets are faring.

By taking part, you give your organisation a voice on the local and national stage.

Each report is fed into the national Quarterly Economic Survey, the biggest regular independent business survey of its type in the UK, to provide an accurate, up-to-date snapshot of the economy. An archive of past reports can be viewed below.

The Staffordshire Q2 2026 Economic Survey is now open!

The QES is a vital tool for the Chambers’ lobbying efforts, with themes fed back to MPs, the British Chambers of Commerce, the Bank of England, as well as Government departments including HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office.

The survey allows organisations of all sizes and sectors to report on business confidence, key challenges and expectations for the first quarter of the year. Results are then combined with data from Chambers across the UK to build one of the largest and most influential business surveys in the country.

The Chambers are encouraging participation from start-ups, sole traders, SMEs and larger employers. Input from a diverse range of organisations helps ensure local business needs are accurately represented.

Previous Quarterly Economic Survey results for the Staffordshire Moorlands will be available here soon.
